The Golden Hexagon Chapter 1

  CHAPTER I It was a bustling town, simple and beautiful. The houses were made out of bricks, and there were gardens, parks, and fountains all around the town. There were flowering plants and fruiting trees all around the town too - thriving lusciously. “Rory! Come inside! Time for bed!” a woman called out, coming out of her house.  “Coming Monna!” lisped a tiny child from the yard, trying to unearth a small piece of shiny rock from the ground, with abandoned mud-figurines lying nearby. The girl ran to her mother. Her mother knelt down and bundled the child in her arms. “Rory, what have I told you about playing outside, after it is dark?” the woman asked, smiling adoringly at her brown headed daughter. “I fovgot,” the child said, gazing mischievously at her mother’s eyes, the same shade of green as hers. “Of course you did,” the mother said, laughing. “Come, time for bed.” “Me hate bed time!” the child announced, nestling closer to her mother. “But Monna will tell you a new story! Monday's musings

Ciao every one!    Mondays symbolise beginnings. They symbolise the end of two glorious days of relaxation that felt way too short. They symbolise the beginning of the week (much more than a Sunday. Seriously, what were they thinking?). For a student, it symbolised the start of school, the day they were to submit assignments. But for you, my readers, Mondays shall be the day I post my thoughts, ranging from short stories and poems, to philosophical discussions that might surprise you. Or it may just be a topic I had in mind. So... Let me know if you have anything you want me to write about, and I'll see you next Monday!

The Golden Hexagon - Prologue

                                                         The sun’s Amber rays struck                               The tribe of Afra who were down on the ground. They cut the ice from the Alba nian hills to keep them cool, As the water from the river Amaya evaporated away, On the windy hill sat the girl Alia , thinking about the tribe’s fate, Till Princess Aurora entered the place! PROLOGUE He opened his eyes and looked at the clouds surrounding Him, the beautiful hillocks, the golden sun and the blue sky. The cool morning breeze seemed to taunt Him with their gentle caress. The calm stream flowed beside Him, a crystal clear path of pureness, so clear that fish swimming in it could be seen.  His amethyst eyes stared at a distance, and he saw the tall mountains, adorned with snow, giving an altogether picturesque scene.
